The Challenge

COOK is an Australian dairy products brand with a long and storied history. For decades, they have used their dairy farm to create old-fashioned dairy goods using all Australian ingredients. They approached us wanting a refresh to the design of their cream cheese packaging. After taking a look at their existing packaging, we discovered that their product packaging didn’t fit into today’s landscape. Not only did it blend in with other products on the market, but it also didn’t showcase the brand and product in a visually appealing way.

Strategy

Taking inspiration from their traditions in Australian dairy and cheese making, we used a number of elements to create a fresh and creative design. This combined three elements to reflect the Australian heritage and dairy-producing nature of the brand.

We created a fresh and unique take on their packaging, using their brand name as the basis, incorporating an image of a cow with the “OO” from their name as its nostrils. We finally used an outline of Australia between the “C” and “K” to round off the fun and creative design whilst representing the brand’s industry and Australian Heritage.
